Completing Your Profile in a Registration

As part of your registration, you will be asked to complete your company Profile. This information is used to represent your company in event directories, collections, and any related materials.

How your company appears in Online Directories or Collections is entirely dependent on the quality of the information your team has entered. For details and tips on how to make the most of your exhibitor page in an event's directory, see Online Directory Guide for Exhibitors.

Accessing Your Profile

  1. Access your Event or Collection registration in Bottlebooks.
  2. Go to Profile, on the left-hand menu.

  1. Fill in your profile:
  • Required fields must be filled in before you can proceed. If something is missing, it will be highlighted in red.
  • Optional fields are clearly marked and can be completed at any time.
  • You can return to this section later to update or add information.

If you're a Winery profile, then the information you upload in this section will feed your Producer profile on each of the products you add on the Products section. If you're a Multi-Brand, then you will need to fill in the Producer profile for each new brand on your Products section.

Completing Your Profile

Profile Sections

The Profile form typically includes the following sections:

Basic Information
  • Name - to avoid mistakes, you need to contact our Support Team in order to change the name. To do that, simply click on Incorrect name?. Please note that changing your brand name will update it across the entire platform, meaning all products currently listed under the old name will show the new name as their producer.

  • Address - you can move the pin directly on the map to fine-tune the location and the input system automatically recognizes addresses as you type.

  • Contact data

Marketing
  • Social Media

When clicking on Marketing in the left-hand menu, the page may scroll directly to the Social Media fields. If you're getting a validation error about an invalid field in the Marketing section, make sure to scroll down further — the problematic field may be located lower on the page, below the Social Media inputs.

  • About the brand

  • Images - the business profile image needs to have a 2:1 aspect ratio (twice as wide as it is tall), while the logo should be close to a square (as tall as it is wide).

Certifications

The amount of certifications that you are asked to provide and whether or not these are required fields is up to the organizer.

Additional Questions

Some registrations may include an Additional Questions section. These are custom fields added by the event organizer or partner for that specific registration.
Bottlebooks does not control or manage these questions. If you need clarification on how to answer them, please contact the event organizer or partner directly.

Alternate Profile

Some events allow you to register using an alternate profile, which lets you customize your name, logo, description, or address without changing your main profile.

If you're looking for details about this feature, please refer to Alternate Profiles in Event Registrations.

If you're looking for a Global Distribution section, please know that you will find it in the Producer profile of each product. For more details on it, please refer to Global Distribution Information.

  1. Click Continue when you're done to move on to the next section in the registration.
