Editing Your E-Label
Once an E-Label is created, you can still update almost all of the information, including the name and product details.
- Edit the E-Label Name and Description
- Edit the Product Name and Description
- Edit the E-Label's Information

Edit the E-label and Product Name
- E-label Name - This is a name that will only be visible to you and will not replace the product name.
- Product Name - This will be the name of your Product, visible to everyone who scans the QR code.
How to Change E-Label Name and Description
- Login to your Bottlebooks account and open the E-Labels page.
- Open the E-Label you wish to edit.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- Add/change the E-label Name and Description.
- Click on Save.
How to Change Product Name and Vintage
- Login to your Bottlebooks account and open the E-Labels page.
- Open the E-Label you wish to edit.
- Click on Edit e-label.
- Add/change the Product name and Vintage.
Edit the E-Label's Information
You can edit fields like ingredients, nutrition, translations, logos, and certifications - anything you initially entered during the initial population process.
- Login to your Bottlebooks account and open the E-Labels page.
- Open the E-Label you wish to edit.
- Click on Edit e-label.
- Navigate to the relevant sections.
You can always track your E-Labels' versions and even republish old ones. For more details, please refer to Track Your E-label Versions and Changes.
Editing the GS1 Digital Link
Each GTIN is a globally recognized product identifier issued by your local GS1 organisation. Once a GTIN has been assigned to an E-label in Bottlebooks, it becomes locked and cannot be edited or replaced. This ensures that each E-label remains uniquely tied to a specific product identity, maintaining regulatory consistency across systems and markets. To learn more refer to: GS1 Digital Link
