# Editing the GS1 Digital Link

Each GTIN is a globally recognized product identifier issued by your local GS1 organisation. Once a GTIN has been assigned to an E-label in Bottlebooks, it becomes locked and cannot be edited or replaced. This ensures that each E-label remains uniquely tied to a specific product identity, maintaining regulatory consistency across systems and markets. To learn more, please refer to: [GS1 Digital Link](https://support.bottlebooks.me/en/article/gs1-digital-link-17h3r2p/).

| If you have not printed the QR Code, you can easily create a new QR Code and E-Label. During the creating process, select "Copy from an existing e-label".
